Its annual sales are estimated to be around 500000 units, with single person and small-sized products being the majority. From the perspective of consumer provinces, Hunan accounted for over 60% a few years ago. In recent years, the number of users in neighboring provinces has increased, and Hunan's proportion has decreased to less than 20%; The proportion of electric heaters in Guangdong, Jiangxi, Hubei, Zhejiang, Anhui, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Sichuan, Chongqing, Guizhou and other regions has been increasing year by year, and the sales of electric heaters are radiating to the southern regions.
"Children and students tend to buy electric heaters with a length of around 35 centimeters, office workers tend to buy heaters with a length of around 45 centimeters, couples tend to use heaters with a length of around 70 centimeters, and households tend to buy heaters with a length of around 120 centimeters." The aforementioned merchants said that currently, the maximum size of electric heaters they sell is 200 centimeters x 150 centimeters, which is similar to the size of a bed. Interestingly, the proportion of users who purchase furniture styles, such as Chinese style, is increasing.
The above-mentioned merchants told reporters that their electric heaters are produced in Changsha and surrounding areas (within Hunan Province), with nearly a hundred local electric foot heater manufacturers of various sizes. The sales scale of locally produced electric heaters is growing at a rate of about 30% annually.
The reporter learned that on the Pinduoduo platform, new heating appliances such as heating table mats and heating tables also sold well during the Double Eleven period, with daily sales exceeding 10000 pieces and winter peak season sales exceeding 10 million. Related businesses are generally concentrated in Zhongshan, Jieyang, Jiangmen, Hebei, and Ningbo in Guangdong. Leveraging the advantages of local industrial belts, they have independently developed high cost-effective heating products to meet the heating needs of consumers in different scenarios such as office and home in various parts of the country, especially in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River Delta.
Some are expanding into the domestic southern market, while others are expanding into overseas markets. Electric heater manufacturers in Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province are more focused on the export market. Li Mingyang, General Manager of Zhongshan Letu Electric Appliances, told First Financial reporters that they are exporting electric heaters. The Korean market is good this year, and through innovative design, the product prices have slightly increased compared to the same period last year.
